The World Food Programme shows the surprising statistics of what can happen in 60 seconds towards the issue of world hunger.
OUR MISSION
The United States is failing to play a leading role in aiding developing countries. Many people in the U.S. are ignorant to the situation and struggles of people in developing countries. Many people simply do not care. We, as the future generation, have decided to work as a group in order to see what our generation thinks on the idea of a food desert. With this in mind, we then came up with a solution. Research was done to figure out what factors influence students’ beliefs. After research, A solution is developed to implement teaching methods where the teacher teaches students about human aid and current news or problems in order countries. This is to develop empathy in students and change them into globally competent individuals. The long-term effects will be that more people will want to aid poorer countries.
